Liz Hartline is the Director of Workforce Initiatives at the Bank Street Education Center. In her role, she leads the Ideal Learning Head Start Network (ILHSN), a coalition of early education providers who advocate for ideal learning in Head Start. Liz brings almost two decades of experience as an early childhood educator to the role. She began her career as a Head Start teacher, then transitioned to a director role. She later worked as an Assistant Professor at a community college and was the director of the campus lab preschool. Her passion is the intersection between policy and practice and seeing how systems can be changed to impact programs, families, and children.
