Policymakers are key players in national, state, and district efforts to expand publicly funded ideal learning environments for our country’s most underserved children.

Trust for Learning engages in national policy conversations and supports colleagues in the Ideal Learning Roundtable and Ideal Learning Head Start Network to develop policy statements and regulatory comments in alignment with our policy framework. We also partner with organizations like the Council for Chief State School Officers and the National Association of State Boards of Education to help education leaders understand how policy decisions impact the ability of ideal learning programs to thrive in states and communities. For example, in 2018-2019 we welcomed policymakers to public ideal learning pre-K classrooms in three states to inspire and support their efforts to expand high-quality preschool in their own districts.

Let's talk policy!

If you are a policymaker or policymaker-supporting organization, we would love to brief you or work with you to help you expand ideal learning environments! Please reach out to discuss how we can partner.
