Althea Wilson is the Family Services Coordinator for the Washtenaw Intermediate School District, supporting early childhood programs and family engagement across Washtenaw County. With more than a decade of experience as a Parent Liaison, Parent Educator, and Early Head Start Home Visitor, she is deeply committed to advancing equity and family well-being. A National Head Start Fellowship alumna and Founder of Community Approach to Restructuring Education (CARE), Althea holds a master’s degree in early childhood education. She lives in Ypsilanti, Michigan, with her husband of more than 30 years and their three daughters.
