Who We Are

In 2008, she worked extensively as a regional volunteer field organizer and fundraiser for Obama for America and later for Organizing for America. While living in Connecticut, Laurie served as a member of the Education and Youth Development Committee of the Fairfield County Community Foundation, co-founder of the Education Leadership Forum, trustee of a private school, and as an elected member of a town board. She now lives in Boston with her husband and three children, in whom she has been observing the benefits of developmental education for over nine years.
