Catalyze collaboration and collective action among existing and new Ideal Learning providers.
We’re helping to ensure that Ideal Learning remains an outstanding, high-fidelity, and holistic approach to education even as it moves from serving the relatively few to the many. We do this by convening Ideal Learning providers to identify best practices, streamline strategies, and promote collaboration through such gatherings as the Ideal Learning Roundtable and the Montessori Leaders Collaborative. We also support joint projects to develop assessment tools that help educators set and meet high standards for themselves without holding children back through standardization. For example, the newly created Developmental Environmental Rating Scale helps providers assess whether their classrooms truly advance developmental milestones in children. Similarly, the Minnesota Executive Functioning tool assesses child progress on developing the full range of executive functioning skills to provide educators with insights that foster better individual outcomes. In short, our convenings unite providers with a shared vision, commitment, and set of tools to advance Ideal Learning for all children.
