Molly O’Shaughnessy, Association Montessori Internionale
Molly O’Shaughnessy is an AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) teacher trainer, international lecturer, and Montessori consultant. Since 1996, she has served as the Director of Training at the Montessori Center of Minnesota. Molly is deeply committed to working at a grassroots level to increase access to quality Montessori programs for children living in poverty. Cornerstone Montessori School, a program of the Montessori Center of Minnesota, fosters a broad community of multicultural and economically diverse families who share the mission to nurture the child’s natural desires to learn and adapt their culture. Additionally, through her outreach efforts, Montessori Partners Serving All Children was initiated with the mission to open ten high quality Montessori schools in the state of Minnesota for underserved communities. This effort is one of the EsF (Educators without Borders) projects connected to the Association Montessori Internationale dedicated to assisting children through the Montessori approach to education. Molly is a member of the AMI board, the NAMTA (North American Montessori Teachers’ Association) board and the Training Group, an AMI committee who oversees and nurtures the training of new trainers.
